OUR PHILOSOPHY
Our guiding philosophy is inspired by the principles of Reggio Emilia and their approach towards early childhood education. For over 50 years, Reggio Emilia has been a cornerstone in helping young children realize their full potential. We are proud members of the North American Reggio Emilia Alliance (NAREA). In Reggio schools, children are viewed as active participants in their own development. Parents and teachers are partners in supporting their growth and the classroom environment is viewed as a third teacher.

Our program and services are also based on the guidelines established by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) for developmentally appropriate practices. GalaMundi continuously strives to enhance social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth in all children under our care. Our program is rooted in the belief that both the teacher and the learner play an active role in promoting independence, curiosity, decision making, cooperation, persistence, creativity, and problem solving. ​
